Wedding Ceremony - 9:30 am at Deer Campground

We've reserved Deer Group Campground in Big Bear!

To get there: From Big Bear Boulevard turn SOUTH on Knickerbocker Road and travel about 1/4 mile. Just past the Knickerbocker Mansion turn LEFT onto forest service road 2N08 and follow the signs! The distance to the campground is only 3.5 miles, however expect travel time to be 20-30 minutes. Forest service roads are made of dirt.

Guests can meet at Northwoods Resort (40650 Village Drive) around 8:50 am and carpool to the site.

Notes on the campground:

• High elevation - be careful! Flatlanders will get winded more easily.
• Loose ground - this is a campground, so high heels are a decidedly bad idea.
• Wild animals! The bride will protect all of you.
• No running water
• Vault toilets - no mirrors, no flushing, no roof, be prepared!
• Bring sandwiches for lunch!

Wedding Reception - 6:00 pm, serving dinner, dancing, and video games

Directions: From CA 18 (Big Bear Boulevard), turn NORTH onto Lakeview Drive. You'll pass Cowboy Express Steakhouse. Then turn right onto Lagunita Lane. The Waterscape is on the right hand side, and there will be a sign to announce our nuptials.

We wish we could afford everyone's lodging, but alas! We hope that everyone loves us enough to make the trip to Big Bear's overpriced lodging!
